Ho, ho, ho! Here in Olón, the local expat community has long sponsored a Christmas program at the home with backpacks of clothes, shoes and surprises. Friends of Santa Maria (FOSMO) has generously granted Mission Santa Maria funds and you can donate here to continue the Christmas tradition. This year, each child will receive a new school backpack filled with clothes and a new pair of shoes. The home will also receive two much needed computers to help with education needs. The celebration will culminate in a festive event on Christmas Eve performed by the kids and even a visit from Santa Claus. Volunteers also graciously provide food for a festive dinner that evening. Thank you for helping bring Christmas joy to all the children living at Santa Maria de la Esperanza Home (aka the Mission Home)!
