Ellen volunteered at the Mission in Ecuador in 2009, where she spent time caring for children and teaching English classes. A graduate of The University of Notre Dame with a BA in Philosophy and English and SUNY Binghamton with an MA in English Education, Ellen spent a few years teaching high school in the suburbs of Boston before her first child was born. Now Ellen and her husband Mike live in Maryland and have three children. She has worked as a volunteer on MSM projects as a member of the board since 2013. Having seen the value of the Mission herself, Ellen is very happy to be able to help it continue to serve so many children.
